On January 25, 2023, Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbaev met with activists of the Kyrgyz community living in Ankara at the Embassy.

The participants of the meeting discussed topical issues related to the departure and stay of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Türkiye, including issues and problems of women working in Turkish families as aides.

During the conversation with the activists of the community, an agreement was reached to hold a large informal meeting with citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic residing in all regions of Türkiye.

In addition, the parties discussed the need for extensive outreach on migration and social issues of compatriots, as well as the need to comply with the rules of stay by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Türkiye.
