On May 13, 2022, during of working trip to the Elazig, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met withPresident of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Elazığ Asilhan Arslana and members of the Chamber.

Ambassador Omuraliev made a presentation on the investment climate and opportunities in the Kyrgyz Republic, on the conditions for doing business, including on the hydropower potential, on the possibility of duty-free export of products manufactured in the Kyrgyz Republic to the markets of the EAEU countries, as well as 6200 items of goods to the EU under the GSP+ program. 

Ambassador Omuraliev urged Elazığ entrepreneurs to invest and open production in Kyrgyzstan, and answered their questions.

In turn, the President of the Chamber Arslan, supporting the call of Ambassador Omuraliev to invest, shared with his positive thoughts on visiting the Kyrgyz Republic at various times.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a trip of Elazığ business circles to Kyrgyzstan in the near future.
