Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev presented the Certificate of Honor of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Head of Kecioren Municipality of Ankara Turgut Altynok

On August 26, 2021, at the Embassy on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev presented the Certificate of Honor of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Head of Kecioren Municipality of Ankara Turgut Altynok for his significant contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey.

For reference: Turgut Altinok was elected as the head of the Kecioren municipality of Ankara from the party of the Nationalist Movement at the elections in 1994, from the Welfare Party in 1999, from the Justice and Development Party in 2004. He was a candidate for the head of the Kecioren municipality of Ankara from the Great Unity Party at the elections of 2014. On March 31, 2019, in the local elections, he was elected the head of the Kecioren municipality of Ankara from the ruling Justice and Development Party.

Kechioren Municipality of Ankara is twin city with Karakol and Leninsky District of Bishkek. With the active assistance of Turgut Altinok, parks named after Chingiz Aitmatov and Kyrgyzstan-Manas, a monument to Chingiz Aitmatov in the park of the same name were opened earlier on the territory of the municipality.
