As part of a working trip to Konya, on December 14, 2021, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Rector of Selcuk University Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy.

In order to exchange experience, teachers and students, as well as considering that the Selcuk University is one of the leading agricultural universities in Turkey, parties agreed to establish cooperation with Kyrgyz universities in this area through the establishment of friendly relations.

Also during the meeting, Ambassador Omuraliev expressed gratitude for the support provided to Kyrgyz students in organizing various events.

For reference: Selcuk University is state-owned higher educational institution, which was founded 1975 in Konya. Currently more than 70 thousand students study at the university. The university has 23 faculties and 6 institutes.
