On March 25, 2022, Ambassador H.E. Mr. Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with H.E. Mr. Perisa Kastratovic, Ambassador of Montenegro.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the actual state and prospects for the development of Kyrgyz Montenegrin relations, discussed a wide range of issues on the international, bilateral, and domestic agenda.

Considering that since 2019 Kyrgyzstan has introduced a visa-free regime for citizens of Montenegro for a period of 60 days, Ambassador Omuraliev suggested to his colleague to establish a similar visa regime for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Montenegro.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Omuraliev expressed a request to support the candidacy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN Human Rights Council for the period 2023-2025.
