On January 23, 2023, the Embassy hosted a meeting of the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Türkiye Ruslan Kazakbayev with students-citizens of Kyrgyzstan studying at universities in Türkiye: Gazi University, Ankara University, Police Academy, Ankara Haji Bayram Veli University, Hacettepe University, etc.

Ambassador R. Kazakbaev told the audience about the current state and prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Turkish relations, and briefly dwelled on important aspects of educational cooperation between the countries.

During the meeting, each of the students present spoke about the place of study, in particular, medical students, questions were raised related to the legalization of stay in Türkiye.

Ambassador R. Kazakbaev also called for the active participation of students in various cultural and other events related to the Kyrgyz Republic, and separately noted the importance of studying advanced technology and foreign languages.

He assured that the Embassy would actively protect the rights of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. At the same time, he emphasized the need to comply with the laws and norms of behavior of the host country.

The students, in turn, thanked for the meeting and expressed their hope to hold such meetings on a regular basis.
