On January 26, 2024, Deputy of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye, Leader of the faction political party «Saadet» Selcuk Ozdağ visited the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Türkiye, where a meeting took place with the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Türkiye R.A. Kazakbaev.

The deputy expressed condolences to the Kyrgyz side due to the recent earthquakes on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues of bilateral political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the countries was discussed, as well as plans for further expansion and deepening of inter-parliamentary relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Türkiye.

Separately, issues on simplifying the conditions of stay of citizens of Kyrgyzstan on the territory of the Republic of Türkiye were discussed.
