On June 26, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Türkiye Ruslan Kazakbaev held a meeting with the Member of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye, former Minister of Internal Affairs, now Chairman of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Türkiye Suleyman Soylu.

During the meeting, issues of interparliamentary cooperation and the organization of mutual visits at the highest and high levels during 2024 were discussed.

The parties also discussed in detail issues of cooperation in the field of security and counter-terrorism, as well as interaction between the sides in the trade, economic and educational spheres.

After the meeting, agreements were reached on continuing mutual contacts across the entire spectrum of bilateral and multilateral strategic cooperation agenda between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Türkiye.
