On May 30, 2023, a working visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain with residence in Riyadh Ulukbek Maripov to the Kingdom of Bahrain took place.

During the visit, Ambassador U.Maripov was received by the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Royal Highness Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.

At the meeting, Ambassador U.Maripov conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N.Zhaparov to His Majesty the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and the people of Bahrain.

Ambassador U.Maripov also presented the Crown Prince of Bahrain with a special message on behalf of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.U.Zhaparov, which contains proposals on specific areas for the development of Kyrgyz-Bahraini relations, as well as the expansion of comprehensive and fruitful cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields.

The parties discussed current areas of bilateral cooperation and their development prospects in various fields. Particular emphasis was placed on holding joint events, including the organization of mutual visits at the highest and high levels, as well as the creation of effective mechanisms for expanding trade and economic ties.

At the end of the meeting, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa conveyed his best wishes to the government and people of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Ambassador U.Maripov, on behalf of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.U.Zhaparov, invited His Royal Highness Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa to pay an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic at any convenient time.
