As part of a series of events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of TURKSOY, on the initiative of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan, on November 18, 2018, a concert was held at the Museum of Musical Instruments of Hamamatsu city.

The event was attended by Advisor of the Head of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.Raev, Secretary General of TURKSOY D.Kaseinov.

Museum of Musical Instruments of Hamamatsu city was founded in 1995 and is the only state museum of musical instruments in Japan. The museum has a collection of more than 1,300 instruments from around the world.

During the meeting of Advisor of the Head of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.Raev with the Director of the Museum of musical instruments of Hamamatsu city Kazuhiko Shima, an agreement was reached to continue the issue of creating a corner of kyrgyz folk instruments in the museum.
