On the temporary extension of the validity of general passports of the Kyrgyz Republic

In order to ensure the rights and protect the legitimate interests of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as protect public health, take urgent measures to prevent the penetration and prevent the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) by a decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated May 19, 2020 No. 256, it was decided to extend the general civil passport of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2006 for citizens residing or staying outside the Kyrgyz Republic whose validity expires from January 1, 2020 to December 30, 2020, until December 31, 2020, except passports of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic under 16 years of age.
An extended passport can be used to cross the state border of foreign countries only for entry (return) to the Kyrgyz Republic.
Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic located or residing outside the Kyrgyz Republic, if necessary, can contact the diplomatic mission or consular post of the Kyrgyz Republic for affixing a corresponding note on the renewal of the valid passport of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2006, which expires in the period from 1 January 2020 to December 30, 2020, until December 31, 2020.
