President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov today, October 5, congratulated Fumio Kishida on his election to the post of Prime Minister of Japan.

“Since gaining its independence, the Kyrgyz Republic has been considering Japan as a friendly and long-term partner in various areas of interaction.

Japan has been providing substantial assistance to the Kyrgyz people for many years in the most priority areas of activity aimed at continuing socio-economic reforms, improving the well-being of the people and strengthening democracy.

Appreciating the continued support of the Japanese side, I would like to express my special gratitude for Japan's timely assistance in countering the pandemic. 

I am confident that the traditional relations of friendship and partnership between the two countries will continue to develop successfully with your personal support", the congratulatory message says. 

President Sadyr Zhaparov wished Fumio Kishida good health, great success in his responsible state activities, and peace and prosperity to the friendly Japanese people.
