On the upcoming elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan

Dear citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic!

As part of the events held by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan to organize the upcoming elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, scheduled for October 4, 2020, we inform you about the following:

1. In accordance with the electoral legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic residing outside the Kyrgyz Republic must register at the Consulate and undergo biometric registration to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Kyrgyz citizens who have not previously undergone biometric registration can submit biometric data to diplomatic missions and Consular posts of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic can register for consular posts both in person and remotely.

To be registered in the consular register, it is necessary to provide a registration card with a photograph and a national passport of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic.

To register for consular registration remotely, citizens of the Kyrgyz REPUBLIC have the right to send the above-mentioned list of documents in scanned form (color photo is submitted in electronic form) to the official email address of the Embassy.

For reference: citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic fill out the above-mentioned registration card by downloading its electronic version from the official website of the Embassy.

2. Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who entered the consular register and passed biometric registration before July 8, 2020are automatically included in the preliminary list of voters.

3. Citizens of the Kyrgyz REPUBLIC from July 15, 2020 (80 calendar days before the voting day) will be able to view the updated preliminary list of voters on the website www.tizme.gov.kg, as well as from July 25, 2020 in the Embassy.

4. Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic , from the moment of familiarization with the preliminary list of voters, have the right to declare their intention to vote at the electoral address of their place of residence by submitting an application to the precinct election Commission on Form No. 2.

At the same time, the voter passes biometric identification.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic have the right to submit the above-mentioned applications in the appropriate form by September 19, 2020 (no later than 15 calendar days before the voting day).
