On Мay 14, 2020, 30 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic were returned to their Homeland from Japan, amid the suspension of international air traffic related to the spread of COVID-19.

At present, all arrivals are placed under observation in one of the medical institutions of Kyrgyzstan in accordance to established order.
