On July 31, 2020, 12 citizens were returned from Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic, amid the suspension of international air traffic related to the spread of COVID-19.

Our citizens on regular flights arrived from Tokyo to Dubai and then on a charter flight of the «FlyDubai» airlines arrived at International Airport Manas.

Work on the search for possible routes for the return of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic from Japan, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand is ongoing.
