Kyrgyz citizens returned to Bishkek from Japan and Philippines

On June 23, 2020, 15 citizens were returned to the Kyrgyz Republic from the Japan and Republic of the Philippines, amid the suspension of international air traffic related to the spread of COVID-19.

Our citizens on regular flights arrived from Tokyo and Manila to Seoul and then on a charter board of the Kazakhstan airline «Air Astana» arrived at Almaty International Airport, from which they were transported by special arranged bus to Bishkek.

All passengers in in accordance to established order placed under observation to undergo appropriate medical procedures.

Work on the search for possible routes for the return of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic from Japan, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand is ongoing.
