On April 6th this year The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic organized a briefing for representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in Bishkek on the occasion of the signing of an agreement to resolve disputes around the Kumtor mine.

During the briefing, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs A.Moldogaziev and Minister of Justice A.Baetov informed the participants of the briefing about the obligations of both parties and the conditions for resolving the issue in accordance with the signed agreement, and also answered questions from the participants.

Speakers from among those invited to the briefing welcomed the settlement reached by the joint efforts of the parties.

During the briefing, it was noted that the Kyrgyz side is ready to fully comply with its obligations under the agreement and create the necessary conditions for the fruitful creative activity of conscientious investors in the Kyrgyz Republic.
