On July 8, Chairman of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic Dastanbek Dzhumabekov visited a number of pharmacies in Bishkek and got acquainted with the prices of medicines.

Chairman Dastanbek dzhumabekov emphasized that those who unreasonably increased the price of medicines in the context of the pandemic will be brought to justice. "Kyrgyzstan, like the whole world, is fighting a coronavirus infection. The State makes every effort to protect the health of the population, and entrepreneurs and volunteers make an invaluable contribution. No one should stand aside in this struggle”, he said.

The Chairman added that in this situation, pharmacies should not raise prices. "This is unacceptable", D.Dzhumabekov said.

D.Dzhumabekov emphasized that pharmacies would provide great support to the population without overstating the cost of medicines and lowering prices for certain types of medicines. “We will only be able to defeat this virus together and in unity" said D.Dzhumabekov, and called on pharmacy owners to work in the interests of citizens in a pandemic.
