An algorithm has been developed for the import of medical products and equipment into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic by individuals and legal entities as providing gratuitous assistance to medical institutions and the population.

The Ministry of Economy, together with the Ministry of Health, the State Customs Service and the State Tax Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has developed a step-by-step algorithm for the registration of medical products and equipment imported into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, both from the territories of third countries and from the territories of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The specified algorithm provides for the import of medical products and equipment (artificial lung ventilation devices, pulse oximeters, oxygen concentrators, personal protective equipment) under a special customs procedure, in accordance with Article 253 of the EAEU Customs Code. Thus, these medical devices and equipment will not be subject to duties and value added taxes.

It should be noted that the algorithm for the import of medical goods by legal entities and individuals into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, in order to provide gratuitous assistance, will operate during the period of the emergency regime.
