President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Zheenbekov today, on August 17, held an online meeting with the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov.

The current epidemiological situation in the country, issues of the socio-economic development of the republic in the context of the coronavirus pandemic were discussed.

Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov noted the improvement in the situation with coronavirus infection - the number of new cases of infection has significantly decreased. He stressed that exhaustive measures are being taken to further improve the situation and create a stock of medicines with a long shelf life.

According to the Prime Minister, at the moment, the development of 14 billion soms, allocated under the program to support entrepreneurs, is underway.

He informed about measures to support entrepreneurs, including the maximum reduction of bureaucratic delays in the provision of concessional loans.

It was noted that the number of bank documents for obtaining a loan was reduced from seven to three.

Kubatbek Boronov also provided information on the progress of reconstruction of social facilities, internal roads in the regions.

The Head of Government also said that based on the results of the analysis of the epidemiological situation, it was decided to teach 1st grade students directly in schools.

President Sooronbai Zheenbekov noted the need to develop a detailed action plan to strengthen work to reduce the budget deficit and the volume of the shadow economy.

Paid attention to ensuring food security, replenishing material reserves with grain and medicines.

The Head of State noted the need for a comprehensive analysis of the impact of the situation with coronavirus infection not only on the health care system, but also on the economy and social sphere.

In addition, he once again emphasized the particular importance of ensuring timely preparation of industries, social institutions, especially medical facilities, for the passage of the autumn-winter period.

He drew attention to the timely financing of the capital reconstruction of hospitals, the strengthening of preventive measures for the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the regions.

Sooronbai Zheenbekov also noted the importance of activating measures to provide doctors and teachers with preferential mortgage loans from the State Mortgage Company.

He emphasized the need to continue work to expand farmers' access to preferential credit resources within the framework of the state policy of regional development.

At the same time, it was noted that within the framework of the Sanarip Aimak Platform, by the end of this year, all public services provided to the population in the regions should be converted into electronic format.

In addition, President Sooronbai Zheenbekov drew attention to ensuring the effective organization of events in preparation for the parliamentary elections in compliance with all sanitary requirements.
