Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Fuat Oktay

On January 22, 2020, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Fuat Oktay.

During the meeting, issues on the agenda of Kyrgyz-Turkish relations were discussed, including the importance of holding of a meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Turkish Republic.

Parties discussed issues of bilateral economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, in particular, the implementation of the agreements reached during the 9th meeting of the Kyrgyz Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation (Ankara, November 22, 2019).

Vice-President F. Oktay informed that monitoring and control over the implementation of the articles of the Protocol’s Action Plan of the 9th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation is conducted through the E-State program (e-gov.tr).

At the meeting, the Turkish side expressed its readiness to participate in the Kyrgyz-Turkish business forum, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan in the summer of 2020.
