On June 28, 2022, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuran Niyazaliev held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the Kyrgyz Republic Rapil Zhoshybaev.

The parties exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of agreements reached during the official visit of the President of Kazakhstan K.-J.Tokaev to the Kyrgyz Republic on May 26, 2022.

Issues of regional cooperation in Central Asia were also discussed during the meeting. Noting the importance of the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of Central Asia in strengthening the inter-State dialogue on a wide range of issues of mutual interest, the significance of maintaining a regional dialogue at the highest level was emphasized.
