On November 15, 2022, in Berlin, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany O.Ch. Tekebaev met with the Executive Director of the German company “Erdbeerhof Gebesee GmbH” for the cultivation, collection and sale of strawberries and asparagus in the Federal State of Thuringia, Andrea Leefers.

The executive director of this company, A.Leefers, expressed his company's interest in attracting workers from Kyrgyzstan in 2023 for seasonal work.

Ambassador O.Ch. Tekebaev noted the importance of systemic and long-term cooperation on organized employment of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany and expressed the readiness of the Embassy to assist in the employment of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in this company.

For reference: Erdbeerhof Gebesee GmbH is an agricultural company specializing in the cultivation and sale of strawberries and asparagus. The company annually in the summer attracts workers to collect and sell strawberries and asparagus. Seasonal work lasts from April to July.
