The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan to Turkiye takes part in the 24th Anadolu Days International Festival of Culture and Art

From August 26 to September 6, 2022, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan to Turkiye takes part in the 24th Anadolu Days International Festival of Culture and Art, organized by the Etimesgut Municipality of Ankara.

The Embassy set up an exhibition pavilion to participate in the traditional festival. Photographs reflecting the ancient history, rich culture and picturesque nature of Kyrgyzstan, photo compositions from the Manas epic, various items demonstrating the traditional life of our people and national dishes were presented in the exhibition pavilion.

An cultural programme was organized in which compatriots living in Ankara and local residents participated.

On August 27, 2022, as part of the event, there was held the event called Days of Kyrgyzstanduring which video about the country were shown, some part of the epic “Manas” was performed, Kyrgyz national dance were demonstrated and national compositions on komuz were played.

At the beginning of the event, officials and guests of the festival visited the “Kyrgyzstan” pavilion. At the end, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev and Head of Etimesgut Municipality Enver Demirel spoke to the guests of the evening.

The event was attended by over 5 thousand people who are residents and guests of the Turkish capital, deputies of the Turkish Parliament and local parliament, heads of other cities, representatives of the diplomatic corps, citizens of Kyrgyzstan living in Turkey.
