On August 30, 2021, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic together with the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Kazy Dikambaev held a conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was attended by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, who made a welcoming speech. It was also attended by the heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic, honorary consuls, veterans of the diplomatic service, international scientists and experts.

The purpose of the conference was to summarize the experience of foreign policy, international cooperation of Kyrgyzstan over the past time and discuss the prospects for the development of international relations in modern conditions.

The conference was opened and a welcoming speech was delivered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev.

The Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Tazabek Ikramov also made a speech with greetings.

There were two panel sessions at the conference. In the first part "A Young Sovereign State and The Role of Global and Regional Organizations in Strengthening Its International Legal Personality" (moderator: Professor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary L.A.Imanalieva), the conference participants listened and discussed the following reports and speeches:

1. Ms. Louise Chamberlain - Permanent Representative of UNDP;

2. Mr. Raimonds Vingris, Acting Head of the Representative Office of the European Commission;

3. Ambassador Alexey Rogov, OSCE Program Office in Bishkek.

In the second part of the session "Integration Processes in Central Asia on The Way to Becoming a Legitimate International Space and Diplomatic Opportunities of Kyrgyzstan" (moderator: Professor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary A.Zh.Beshimov), the following speeches and reports were heard and discussed:

1. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic H.M.Mirzakhidova;

2. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan in the Kyrgyz Republic R.S.Zhoshybaeva;

3. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China, Ms. Du Dewen.

The conference was held in an engaged atmosphere, the results of the 30-year foreign policy activity of the Kyrgyz Republic were summed up. Many speeches, comments, remarks and questions raised the possibilities of international development between countries in the context of globalization in a new way, which caused a lively discussion among the conference participants.
