On April 28, 2023, in the city of Frankfurt am Main, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev and the Speaker of the City Council of the city of Frankfurt am Main, Ms. Hilime Arslaner. The meeting was attended by Asel Sairaan-Damir, Chairman of the Society of Kyrgyzstanis in Germany "B.I.Z" ("Bildung. Initiative. Zusammenarbeit" - "Education. Initiative. Cooperation").

During the meeting, Ambassador O.Tekebaev discussed issues of Kyrgyz-German cooperation, as well as support for the Kyrgyz diaspora in Germany from the local German authorities.

Speaker of the city council H.Arslaner informed about the events held jointly with public organizations and migrants in Frankfurt am Main and expressed her readiness to cooperate with the Kyrgyz diaspora.

For reference: Since April 2021, Hilime Arslaner has been the Speaker of the City Council (Parliament) of Frankfurt am Main, a member of the Green Party in the Parliament of Frankfurt am Main. She was born in Turkey and has been living in Germany for over 45 years. Coming from a migrant family in Germany, she achieved great success up to the post of Speaker of the City Parliament of Frankfurt am Main.
