As part of the ongoing work to implement the agreements reached following the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N. Zhaparov to Hungary (February 13-14, 2023) by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Hungary together with the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary in Budapest on April 18 In 2023, the first Kyrgyz-Hungarian Forum on the labor market and employment was organized. This event was attended by representatives of more than 25 private employment agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic and 30 recruiting companies in Hungary.

The participants of the event were explained in detail the conditions and procedure for employment of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Hungary, taking into account the inclusion of the Kyrgyz Republic in the list of countries with a simplified procedure for employment in Hungary.

As part of the event, B2B meetings were organized between Kyrgyz and Hungarian employers. As a result of the Forum, more than 25 agreements and memorandums of cooperation between private employment agencies of the two countries were signed. It is expected that over 2,000 citizens from the Kyrgyz Republic will be employed in Hungary this year.
