The event was held at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkmenistan on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic and the 95th anniversary of the National writer Ch.Aitmatov

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkmenistan held a meeting with citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and ethnic Kyrgyz living in Turkmenistan on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic and the 95th anniversary of the National writer Ch. Aitmatov.

During the event Ambassador A. Madmarov informed the participants of the meeting about the historical significance of the Constitution, its role and ongoing events in the country related to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was emphasized that democratic reforms are being carried out in the country, all opportunities are being used to support and implement the human rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Basic Law.

The participants of the meeting were informed that this year marks the 95th anniversary of the birth of the world-famous writer, our outstanding countryman Ch. Aitmatov, as well as about the events dedicated to this anniversary date.

Information was provided on the Concept for the Development of Civil Identity of the Kyrgyz Jarany in the Kyrgyz Republic for the period 2021-2026, the principles and goals of this strategic document.

During the meeting comprehensive answers were given to citizens' questions regarding the protection of their rights and interests, as well as relevant explanations and information about changes in the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic aimed at providing quality services to citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

Ethnic Kyrgyz citizens of Turkmenistan were informed about the procedure for receiving and processing documents for obtaining the status of a compatriot through the AIS "Meken-kart".

The Embassy also organized a photo exhibition "Aitmatov in faces" dedicated to the life and works of Ch.T.Aitmatov.
