On November 7, 2022, in Riyadh, as part of the first bilateral political consultations between the foreign ministries, H.E. Azizbek Madmarov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, met with H.E. Walid Al-Khureiji, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The parties noted with satisfaction the high dynamics of the development of bilateral relations and discussed further steps to strengthen them in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.

H.E. Walid Al-Khureiji welcomed the Kyrgyz delegation and noted the importance of holding the First Political Consultations to identify priority areas for cooperation.

Taking into account the mutual official visits of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs this year, the parties agreed to direct efforts to organize an official visit of H.E. S.Zhaparov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the near future.

The parties also noted the importance of infrastructure and socio-economic projects implemented in Kyrgyzstan through the Saudi Fund for Development, and focused on the promotion of new projects.

At the end of the meeting, H.E. A.Madmarov invited H.E. Walid Al-Khureiji to visit the Kyrgyz Republic at any convenient time.
