On April 26, 2021 Aibek Artykbaev, the Deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic met Mr. Sardar Azhar Tarik Khan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic. During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including the further resumption and intensification of political contacts between the foreign ministries and the leadership of the two countries through the organization of visits.

The issue of holding regular inter-ministerial consultations and a meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation was discussed. In addition, they discussed the prospects for using the Pakistani ports of Karachi and Gwadar, promoting the CASA-1000 project.

Ambassador of Pakistan S.A. Tarik Khan congratulated Deputy Minister A.Artykbayev on his appointment and wished him success in his work.
