On the participation of the Kyrgyz delegation at the 16th meeting Senior Officials of the Dialogue “Central Asia+Japan”

On May 14, 2024, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Moldogaziev took part in the 16th Senior Officials meeting of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue in Astana.

The meeting participants exchanged views on issues within the dialogue, identified priority areas of cooperation, and also came up with initiatives for joint projects.

In particular, in the statement of the Kyrgyz side, the Deputy Minister Aibek Moldogaziev noted the need for the practical implementation of agreements during the Dialogue events, and as well as made a proposal on the order of chairing the Dialogue platform and the vision of the Kyrgyz side on the functioning of the Secretariat. 

The meeting took place on the eve of the First Dialogue Summit, which will be held at the level of the heads of 5 Central Asian countries and Japan in 2024.
