Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev took part in a conference in the field of tourism “Luxury B2B MICE Event and Conference” in Istanbul

On April 6-7, 2021 Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev took part in a conference in the field of tourism “Luxury B2B MICE Event and Conference” in Istanbul.

At the opening of the event, Ambassador Omuraliev made a speech as the main speaker and in his speech, he informed about the state and development of tourism, as well as further prospects in the post-covid period in Kyrgyzstan. Ambassador drew the attention of the event participants to the existing types of tourism in Kyrgyzstan and to the assessments of international experts, including recognition by world-famous mass media and agencies, which in 2019, 2020, and 2021 included Kyrgyzstan in the top 10 countries for travel.

On the second day of the conference, during the panel session, Ambassador Omuraliev made a presentation on the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan. In order to attract investment in the tourism sector of our country, Ambassador urged representatives of tour operators to organize trips to Kyrgyzstan, and business circles to invest in the tourism sector. At the same time, Ambassador drew attention to the fact that there are great potential in the field of tourism and favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activity, incl. liberal legal framework, investment protection, low taxes, and costs for doing business, etc for investment in Kyrgyzstan.

As part of the event, to attract tourists to our country the Ambassador held meetings with the leaders of the Tour Operators Association of America (USTOA), the Istanbul Tourism Association (ISTTA), the International Ecotourism Society (TIES), and other representatives of travel companies participating in the conference, which organize tours on all over the world.

The conference and exhibition were attended by foreign tour operators from different countries, many Turkish companies, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Mayors of tourist cities of Turkey.
