On May 10, 2022 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Jeenbek Kulubaev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Amir Hossein Abdollahian exchanged congratulatory letters on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.

In the congratulatory letter of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Jeenbek Kulubaev it was stated, particularly, the following:

“Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran are an example of friendly mutually beneficial cooperation based on deep historical friendship, common moral and cultural values of the two peoples.

I am pleased to note that over the past years political contacts at the highest and high levels, effective trade, economic cooperation has been established within the framework of the Kyrgyz-Iranian intergovernmental commission and interregional ties are being strengthened as a result of active efforts of the parties”

In the congratulatory letter of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Amir Hussein Abdollahian, it was noted:

"Fortunately, the two countries, relying on many historical, cultural, religious and civilizational commonalities, as well as the principles of good neighborliness, have maintained sincere friendly relations for 30 years. Diplomatic officials and agencies of the two countries played a significant, outstanding role not only in the field of protection of inviolability and security, but also in the development of mutual ties and relations.

I am sure that this important mission will be also in the center of our attention in the coming years, and the foreign ministries of the two countries will make every effort to use the opportunities to achieve important goals outlined by the leaders of the two countries."
