From December 12 to December 17, 2019, took place a working visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Ukraine and Moldova Zhusupbek Sharipov to the Republic of Bulgaria for the presentation of Credentials to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria R. Radev as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Bulgaria with a residence in Kiev.

During this trip, on December 16, 2019, were held bilateral meetings of Ambassador Zh. Sharipov with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria V. Tudzharov and President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria Ts. Simeonov, where were discussed the state and prospects of the development of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic sphere.

In turn, the Bulgarian side emphasized that it attaches great importance to the development of relations with the Kyrgyz Republic and is ready to develop cooperation on all aspects of bilateral cooperation.

The parties agreed to establish cooperation, create an intergovernmental commission on trade and economic issues and hold a business forum with the aim of establishing contacts between business communities of the two states.
