On July 12, 2019 there was held the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev with the Management of the Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) «OSTIM» and the OSTIM companies in Ankara.

On July 12, 2019 there was held the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev with the Management of the Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) «OSTIM» and the OSTIM companies in Ankara, as well as the visit of the enterprises in the field of engineering, medicine, programming and hydropower of this OIZ.

Ambassador K.Omuraliev informed Turkish businessmen regarding the investment potential and opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as about the liberal legislative base and conditions for doing business, in particular low taxes and costs of doing business: cheap electricity, labor, etc.

During the visit to enterprises of OIZ “OSTIM”, Turkish companies expressed interest in considering investment projects of the Kyrgyz Republic, in particular, the state hydropower company “Temsan” expressed its readiness to consider hydropower projects of the Kyrgyz Republic. The parties agreed to continue cooperation and, if necessary, to organize a visit of the delegation of the Temsan company to the Kyrgyz Republic.

For reference: Organized industrial zone (hereinafter referred to as OIZ) “OSTIM” is the first OIZ in Ankara, established in 1967 by Jevat Dundar and a group of entrepreneurs (in the present, area of OSTIM is 5 million square meters). OIZ "OSTIM" includes 6,200 enterprises of small and medium-sized industries, where works more than 60,000 employees in 17 sectors and 139 business areas. It has a developed infrastructure (representative offices of banks, telephone companies, a post office, a medical center, etc.) and a industrial ecosystem. The companies of OIZ“OSTIM” conduct their activities in the field of defense, aviation, railway systems, medicine, construction equipment, information technology, energy, etc.
