In Bursa the 2022 Cultural Capital of the Turkic World is being held the event “Week of Manas”, organized by TURKSOY together with the Municipality of Bursa and the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan to Türkiye.

Within the framework of the event, manaschi Mr. Ryspai Isakov with the support of other manaschi from Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan and Hungary, will retell the national epic "Manas" without interruption for seven days.

On September 21, 2022, Senior Adviser to the President of Türkiye Yalçın Topçu, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev, Mayor of Bursa Alinur Aktaş and other persons took part in the opening ceremony and delivered a welcoming speech.

The event continued with the performance of fragment from the epic “Manas” by famous manaschi from Kyrgyzstan and other countries, as well as performances of folkdance groups.
