On March 5, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kyrgyz Republic Nikolai Udovichenko.

Ch.Aidarbekov congratulated N. Udovychenko on the start of the diplomatic mission in the Kyrgyz Republic and wished him success in his responsible activities.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the variety of issues related to the preparatorywork for the upcoming State Visit of the President of the Russian Federation V.Putin to the Kyrgyz Republic,convening,during the visit,of the 8th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference, as well as the agenda of interstate cooperation in general.

The parties noted the positive results of the 21st meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation, which was held in Bishkek on March 1, 2019.
