On June 24, 2020, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea, a charter flight of T’Way airline, organized by the Korean company «Kyrgyzstan Catering and Air Global», took off, where our citizens were taken out of South Korea and the Vietnam, as well as humanitarian assistance arrived to Bishkek.
The humanitarian assistance consisted of more than 3,000 medical masks, as well as 1,700 PCR tests provided by the former President of KICB Mr. Kwang Young Choi, Chairman of the Meridian Gold LCC Mr. Soo-taeg Lee and the President of the Wella Korea Mr. Lee Sang Ki.
The Kyrgyz side appreciates the assistance of the aforementioned South Korean citizens and companies in the struggle of Kyrgyzstan against the COVID-19 pandemic, and expresses confidence that this assistance is evidence of the traditional friendly relations between people of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea.
