The 12th meeting of the joint Kyrgyz-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation (IGC) was held in Tehran

On December 3-4, 2019, the 12th meeting of the joint Kyrgyz-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation (IGC) was held in Tehran.

The 12th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Iranian IGC was chaired by the Minister of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zhanat Beishenov  and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, Mohammad Eslami.

Within  the  framework  of this event, bilateral meetings were held between the co-chairs of the Kyrgyz part of the Minister of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic, J. Beishenov, with the Minister of Roads and Urban Planning of the Islamic Republic  of  Iran M. Eslami, as well as the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic  S. Mukanbetov with the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Islamic Republic of  Iran F. Dezhpasand, the Minister of Industry, mines and trade of Iran R. Rahmani.

Following the results of the 12th meeting of the IGC, a meeting of two Kyrgyz ministers with the First Vice-President of Iran Eskhak Jahangiri took place.

The parties discussed comprehensive mutually beneficial Kyrgyz-Iranian bilateral cooperation in such specialized areas as transport and communication, trade and investment, industry, agriculture, interregional cooperation, scientific and cultural, social tourism, sports etc.

The parties also agreed to hold the 13th meeting of the joint kyrgyz-iranian  IGC in Kyrgyz Republic.
