On January 24, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Head of the Etimesgut Municipality of Ankara Mr. Enver Demirel.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the organization of mutual visits of delegations of twin cities Etimesgut and Naryn.

Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbaev noted the special merits of the Head of Etimesgut Enver Demirel in strengthening the fraternal unity of the Turkic peoples. He also expressed gratitude for the support provided in the implementation of various socio-cultural projects, in particular the construction of a kindergarten in the sister city of Naryn, the perpetuation of the memory of outstanding personalities of Kyrgyzstan through the establishment of monuments to them, as well as the promotion of the culture and history of the country.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing the active development of interregional relations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Türkiye.
