On March 25, 2023, the Deputy foreign minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Imangaziev received copies of the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Hasan Ali Zaigham.

During the meeting Deputy minister A. Imangaziev congratulated the head of the diplomatic mission on his appointment and wished him every success in his new post.

The participants of the meeting discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields of mutual interest. In particular, special attention was devoted to strengthening bilateral political, trade and economic cooperation. In this connection, the parties agreed to arrange the visits at the highest and high levels this year as well as resume activities of the Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation between the states.

The parties also emphasized the need to develop cooperation in cultural and humanitarian fields, as well as inter-parliamentary ties.

In the context of the intensification of trade and economic cooperation, special attention was paid to the creation of joint ventures in the textile and pharmaceutical sectors, the development of tourism, and the expansion of the legal framework between the countries.

During the meeting an exchange of views on topical international issues on the international agenda also took place.
