The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan organized a solemn event in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic

On August 30, 2021, at the Bahria University in Islamabad, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan organized a solemn event in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As part of the event, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan H.E. Mr.Ulanbek Totuiaev delivered an extensive lecture to senior students of the Faculty of International Relations, professors of Bahria University and experts of the Center for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) on the: “30th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic: historical experience and prospects. Aspects of Kyrgyz-Pakistani bilateral relations”.

In his lecture, Ambassador Ulanbek Totuiaev spoke about the history of development and stages of formation of the statehood of the Kyrgyz Republic, noting the centuries-old traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people. The ambassador highlighted the main achievements of the country's independence, highlighting the commitment of the Kyrgyz Republic to further intensify Kyrgyz-Pakistani cooperation, and also informed those present about the broad economic, investment and tourism opportunities of Kyrgyzstan.

Following the speech of the Ambassador, those present at the event were shown video materials about the tourism and investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Within the framework of the event, in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan, the Embassy solemnly opened a photo exhibition with the participation of the leadership of the University and students.

The event took place in a solemn atmosphere and attracted the attention of a large number of guests.
