On October 22, 2020, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the United States and Canada (with residence in Washington) held a telephone conversation with the Director of the Eastern Europe and Eurasia Division of the Canadian Foreign Ministry A.Grant. During the conversation, the Canadian side was informed about the events taking place in the Kyrgyz Republic and noted the importance of Canadian support for reforms.

A.Grant noted that the Canadian side is closely following the developments in the Kyrgyz Republic and wishes to achieve political stability as soon as possible. She also assured that Canada will stand by to be supportive to the Kyrgyz Republic within its capabilities.

The Embassy of Canada thanked the Canadian side for its assistance in combating the Coronavirus epidemic and noted the importance of continuing to work together in this direction.
