On July 2, 2023, at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic on an official visit.

Within the framework of the official visit, it is also planned to hold bilateral negotiations between foreign ministers  of Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia, as well as meetings with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, Toraga of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlan Shakiev and Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov.
