The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev received the parliamentary delegation of the Saudi Arabia headed by the Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Majlis-ash-Shura of the KSA Mr. Ali bin Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Asiri

On May 24, 2022 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Jeenbek Kulubaev received the parliamentary delegation of the Saudi Arabia headed by the Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Majlis-ash-Shura (Parliament) of the KSA, who is also the head of the Saudi-Kyrgyz Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mr. Ali bin Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Asiri.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the development of Kyrgyz-Saudi relations and the prospects for inter-parliamentary cooperation. The importance of opening direct regular flights between the two countries was emphasized, which will increase the volume of trade and make great contribution to the development of the tourism sector.

Minister J. Kulubaev noted that direct inter-parliamentary contacts and mutual visits not only contribute to strengthening cooperation between the parliaments of the two fraternal countries, but can also become a bridge of friendship between the fraternal peoples of the two countries.

As the result of the meeting, the parties agreed to make joint efforts to strengthen Kyrgyz-Saudi ties in all areas of mutual interest. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The meeting was also attended by members of the Committee on International Affairs of the Majlis-ash-Shura of the KSA and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the KSA to the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Ibrahim Al-Radi.
