The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev will participate and address the High-level Segment of the 52nd session of the UNHR

On March 1-2, 2023, in connection with the beginning of the Kyrgyz Republic membership of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC), the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev will participate and address the High-level Segment of the 52nd session of the UNHRC.

The UN Human Rights Council is one of the most authoritative intergovernmental bodies of the UN system designed to ensure the protection of human rights around the world. The agenda of the 52nd session includes the most pressing issues related to the observance and protection of human rights, including civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights.

The event will be attended by UN Secretary-General António Guterres, High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, heads of state and government, foreign ministers and high-level representatives from more than 150 countries.

Along with this, bilateral meetings of Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev with heads of international organizations in Geneva (WHO, IOM, ITC, UNCTAD, etc.) are planned during the visit.
