M. Ismailov the Head of the PR MFA of the KR in BJO regions met with Zh.K. Firat Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in the Kyrgyz Republic

On February 8th, 2019 Mirlanbek Ismailovthe Head of the Plenipotentiary Representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in the south of Kyrgyzstan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in the Kyrgyz Republic Cengiz Kamil Firat.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of interregional relations in Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions of Kyrgyzstan with the provinces of the Republic of Turkey in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and exchanged views on the progress of economic projects in Osh, implemented with financial support from the turkish side.
In addition, the parties stressed the importance of close cooperation with the goal of holding events in the framework of the declared Osh city the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2019. 

Ambassador Cengiz Kamil Firat, in turn, expressed interest in further strengthening interregional relations between Kyrgyzstan and Republic of Turkey, as well as attracting turkish investments to Batken, Jalal-Abad, Osh regions and Osh city.
