On February 5th, 2019 Mirlanbek Ismailov the Head of the Plenipotentiary Representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in the south of Kyrgyzstan met with Eraj Kaniev the head of the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) office in Osh city and Luc Patenaude the head of the UN World Food Programme (WFP) office in Osh city.

During the meeting of M.Ismailov with E.Kaniev the parties discussed the implementation of projects in the areas of health and strengthening children's rights, in particular the project «Strengthening the mother and child health system», and exchanged views on projects planned for implementation in 2019. Also, M.Ismailov the Head of the Plenipotentiary invited the head of the office to visit the sponsored Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic social institution – Kara-Suu boarding school for deaf children of Kara-Suu district of Osh region.

Within the framework of the meeting of M.Ismailov and L.Patenaude discussed current projects of the office in the area of improving school meals and the protection of the rights of vulnerable people.

During the meetings, the Head of the Plenipotentiary noted the need for close cooperation in the implementation of projects in the city of Osh, as well as in the Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions of Kyrgyzstan.
