On February 7, 2024, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea, Mrs. Aida Ismailova, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Chong Byung-won.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on topical issues of further strengthening and development of Kyrgyz-Korean bilateral relations.

In particular, the main aspects of political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation were discussed, including the organization of exchanges of visits at the highest and high levels.

The parties also discussed interaction within the framework of multilateral cooperation, in particular at the UN and other international organizations.

Following the meeting, the parties noted the need to strengthen measures to further deepen and expand bilateral ties.
