Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea A.Ismailova met with the Mayor of Pyeongtaek, Jang Seong Jung.

During the meeting, A.Ismailova stressed the investment attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan and the importance of the ongoing economic reforms in the country. She also called for increased cooperation in various fields, in particular, noted interregional cooperation, the dispatch of seasonal workers from Kyrgyzstan, as well as cooperation in the field of culture.

In turn, Mayor Jang Seong Jung expressed interest in deepening cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic. He highlighted the potential for cooperation between the cities of the two countries and expressed readiness to initiate projects aimed at developing mutually beneficial relations. The mayor also expressed interest in the possibility of sending students from Kyrgyzstan for study and subsequent employment in the city of Pyeongtaek.
